This stunning Henley Beach Federation/Edwardian home has been completely reimagined by Precision Homes, transforming a once-dark 1920s residence into a luminous, modern family sanctuary. Thoughtfully preserving key period elements, the renovation celebrates the home’s historic charm while introducing light, functionality, and contemporary comfort across every space.
A standout feature of the renovation is the installation of 12 Velux skylights and highlight windows, flooding the interior with natural light while accentuating restored architectural details, including ornate veranda fretwork, period-accurate cornices, ceiling roses, architraves, and the original Queen Anne-inspired stained-glass front door. The layout was expertly reconfigured to create a grand master suite, spacious living and dining areas, a modern kitchen, and upgraded bathrooms, blending past and present seamlessly.
Beyond aesthetic enhancements, Precision Homes maximized functionality with smart storage solutions, a renovated attic space, and ceiling adjustments for optimal flow. The red brick façade was repointed, the multi-pitched roof reconfigured, and original fireplaces converted to gas – all maintaining classic appeal. This renovation stands as a testament to meticulous planning, thoughtful design, and the art of turning a historic home into a radiant modern masterpiece.
